Shoutbox just shows loading (new)

Hi! My Shoutbox has worked perfectly until now (tonight). Now it just shows 'loading'. No changes to our site have been made.

My users use video/audio, so I need RMS.

Anyone have any ideas of what might have gone wrong?

I forgot to add that I do have and RMS server, and it appears to be connecting fine; I have several users in Chat right now having a blast...using audio and video just fine.

Hi - can anyone help with this please? Our shoutbox is still down...I'm at a loss.

Just a guess, but maybe there is something in one of the last messages that the shout box is barfing at. Corupt data. Maybe someone tried some kind of injection hack on the shout box.

You could try clearing the last few messages from the database table RayShoutboxMessages.


This is just a guess. I can't think of anything else, esp since your other ray modules are working.

We did a complete reinstall on the component and it's okay now. I'll watch for that in the future though. I didn't figure out what the problem was, and that might have been it.

This issue has been fixed.
