For over a year, I have attempted to get my emails to my iPhone. Anyone who has the patience to assist with this? I can receive messages, but I can't send any due to outgoing message errors. I have used this as a guide, without any luck. Any iPhone techs out there? I want my website (support/sales/admin) to go to my iPhone (www.oefitness.com)

Cannot Send Mail
A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The recipient "support@oefitness.com" was rejected by the server.
Thanks to the cpanel, I have manual instructions on how to add this information, but it is not as easy as it looks. Once I fix one of them, I am sure I can add the rest. Receiving emails is not a problem, only sending out.
Thanks in advance.

Deanos, trust me, I have gone there, and I was told the following after given the same information that was on my cpanel:
About all I can say. I don't have an iPhone to test, and email client setups really isn't part of our tech support.

So I am just wondering if there were any iPhone techies out there is all. Thanks.

Sorry. I deleted my post.
Anyhow. The same thing would apply to outbound mail on a phone as it would for a desktop email client.
Most ISP's do not allow their servers to be use for outbound mail unless your connected to their network.
So, before anyone can help we kinda need to know how you have your phones outbound mail setup.
If for example you have the phone setup to send email out on mail.oefitness.com then it will not work unless that mail server is configured to allow it. For the simple reason your phone is not connected to your hosts network, it's connected either through a cellular network or your homes wi-fi.
To make it work, your mail server would have to be setup to relay mail for authenticated accounts and then your phone would have to be configured to use a user name and password for outbound mail also.

Thought I'd chime in based on some tickets.
Port 25 is not blocked on the server's end. I've tested connections to it from servers in several different datacenters to make sure. It looks like your local ISP is blocking port 25, which is a pretty common practice. In those cases, only their own email service is allowed to run through that port. You'll need to use port 465 instead, which should work fine.

Oh duh.
I knew that too, and it just totally slipped my mind.

There is no need to go through the forum bumping up old posts with comments that serve no purpose. It just makes it harder to see the posts from others that are having issues that need our attention. Geeks, making the world a better place |

Now this i did not realize would happen - I was reviewing my inquiries and did it for myself. Thanks for the heads up though.
