How do I set up mobile for my members to use?

if your members are using an iphone then they dont need a mobile version.   there are a few mods out there for non iphone users  but it is limited as to what content you can see on the site.

Have a look in the market for them.  I'll do a search and see if i can find some.

You can't chat on the iPhone App but you can with this one. Plus it works with any phone and no app to download is needed:

i won by 5 seconds :)

i just ment the iphone has a normal web browser in it iphone V3 my son has i think and i use the web browser to view dolphin sites. never tried to chat with it ...

WAP site version (Updated!) 

The WAP module allows to browse your Dolphin based web site on any mobile phone. It supports old mobile phones models (which uses wml) and the new, modern ones (which use xhtml).

$65 is not really really a lot to ask. As a developer i am betting a lot of work and time went into that module.

I prefer to think of it as a fee that covers the initial module, plus updates, plus help with setup issues (if any)... and the opportunity to request improved features.  For a unique and full featured module like WAP, which I've purchased, a fee of $65 seems reasonable.  I have contacted the developer for support... response has been 'okay'.  For whatever it's worth, I suggest you avoid module developers that do not support their work with reasonably quick (<48hrs) feedback and code fixes.
