You can not sell your license.

May I resell Dolphin license?
No, licenses are not transferable. If you sell your site with Dolphin the buyer would have to obtain their own license.

Actually, if the license is in the business name and is registered within the assets of the business then you should be able to see the license along with the business and the site as a whole package. It is not being transfured because the name will not need to be changed.

That is really interesting.  Boonex, whats your take.  Sounds pretty solid to me!

Since we are talking about licenses, I have a proposition for boonex.

Boonex- Hey, as you all aware, I was not one of the "lucky/random" people who woke up with a license in their inbox.  Since I still have a few FREE licenses, care to swap/trade a few of those primes in exchange of several of my free licenses? Sealed

They said they would implement some kind of transfer system (transfer a license from account A to account B with a small fee), but that's still all talk.

I feel that Boonex lost a lot of goodwill with the huge jump in licence fees.  I almost went with a different framework because the original fee was as high as it was.  With the current fee, there will be no more social sites based on Dolphin unless someone else is footing the bill.  Furthermore, there would be no site now based on Dolphin if I had to plunk down almost $400 AUD.

To offset the goodwill lost, it would be nice if Boonex looked at implementing a licence transfer system.  The person that started this thread is not going to be using the licence; if they can transfer it to someone that will, then it means yet another Dolphin site and someone that will be contributing to the community as well as probably buying from the market.  If nothing else, at least let the person sell it back to Boonex with a small "restocking fee"; at least that way the person doesn't take a total lost on buying a licence they will never use.

You could sell your whole boonex account with login info so that the license domain can be reset?

The most posted topic?!

As license cant be transfered from account to account, you would have to sell your 'account' in order to fully give the license to new owner.

Easy to do if you only have a single license in your shopping cart history...

And your account was never used to post any content...

I remember someone who would add a note to all their posts that the account was under new ownership.  Kind of like speeding down the highway screaming about how the car isn't actually yours.

When will people ever understand the simple concept of Don't ask...Don't tell?

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

Not to mention the shopping history if one has purchased modules.
