Search not working!

New install, all up to date files.

Search works for some modules, but not on others!

Example - search 'test' in home page search (I have created an item in each module named 'test') and it shows the photo named test but nothing else.

Got to Groups module, search same, no results even though there is a group named test!

If I leave the search field empty (in group) but select all cats, then it find the 'test' group.

Same on all other modules tested.

Any ideas?

using standard search, not google search module.

tested on 2 other dev builds on same version of D (latest installed fresh) and same result.

Test on an older version and search works fine...

Can anyone else verify?

I have always found the search feature in Dolphin to be lacking.  Others have reported the same thing.  Search is important to some sites.  It would be nice if someone wrote a really nice search module for Dolphin; a module that returns accurate results. 

GG, can you test on your sites if you have 7.2 and 7.3 to compare?

It works on any of my 7.2 builds, but on none of my 7.3 builds!

I would suggest to check the following setting:

Admin Panel > Settings > Advanced Settings > Disable Full-Text Search

When this option is ON it should work fine in your case, but when this option is OFF, then Full-Text Search is enabled and it requires some statistics to work properly, it will not work properly for 1-2 entries.
