Safari Db error, IE loads fine???

Is there something about Safari that just recently caused this error and internet explorer, IE 8 at the moment, shows the site with no problems even when refreshed and cache cleared etc.....

Safari error shown...

Error
Database connect failed

Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/koolcool/public_html/inc/classes/BxDolDb.php on line 431

Fatal error: Call to a member function getParam() on a non-object in /home/koolcool/public_html/inc/db.inc.php on line 83

What is it about Safari that causes this error that just started after the site being up after being installed for about a month with no issues..

I get this issue daily..

if you go to the search here in the forums, and type in 431 and search in whole messages, you'll find a lot of suggestions.. but I've tried a lot and still get this issue :(

Thanks for letting me know... At least I'm not the only one but with all the people using MACs is there not a real emphasis on solving the issue as you seem to imply that tried efforts haven't been the answer.

If we're not compatible with such a large group that would be utilizing a dolphin based product then this should be a priority to resolve asap.

I'll take a look at your link but I think Boonex should come up with a clear resolution for this one.  Afterall it's not really a bug but a failure to accomodate a large sector of the market, and a growing one at that.

Hope someone jumps on this one soon...
