SHOUTBOX WONT LOAD

Following a server upgrade my SHOUTBOX wont load - can anyone throw any light on how to resolve this PLEASE its URGENT

Have just checked that the permissions are correct at 755 and they are so its not that

Any other help would be apprciated

xml/ the files that need to be 666 r they? re insert install folder and check your permission properly!

Im sorry but could you possibly guide me through this I dont even know where to find the xml file that requires amendment is ist the one in general/shoutbox/zml i sort of guess it probably is now that is set on 755 how do i change it?   Sorry but this is a complete misnoma to me im new to it.

It was all working fine till someone had the bright idea of upgrading the bloody servers.
