Resume Mod Support (Modzzz) - part 2

The Resume module has been updated so that when it is integrated with Jobs, the Job poster will be able to view any Resume attached to an application notwithstanding the Privacy Settings on the Resume. Please re-upload the modules\modzzz\resume\classes folder.

So I am posting here

Profile icon, account icon are familiar for switching between pages. That is from profile page to account page and vice versa.

Here my resume icon is same as profile icon. So I thought it as my profile page thumbnail and searched the website for my resume (which is very next to add resume in the form of profile thumbnail). 

So it would be better to choose the thumbnail something like a small document superimposed on profile icon.

but my users cant find when they add anything about Skill's

not available in Predefined Values i cant change any values.
3-and the biggest problem i face, there is no Main-Sector and Sub-Sector
in Predefined Values.
is your module missing some work.

Regarding questions asked above ...

RESPONSE : These are not used in the latest version of the module, instead there is a Work Experience section. They will be removed in next update.

2-and StartMonth/StartYear/EndMonth/EndYear/CompletionMonth/CompletionYear

RESPONSE : Please elaborate on what you are talking about here. StartMonth for what ?

3-and the biggest problem i face, there is no Main-Sector and Sub-Sector

in Predefined Values.

RESPONSE : Go to the Admin section of the mod and you will see a Tab called "Industries". That is where you manage those values.

ResumeSkillLevel & ResumeSkillExperience so if this 2 not anymore exist in your module, at least if there is a note in your description it will be good, and did you low the price ? before and after ?

all head lines cant be changed in pdf where you give the action button Print Resume, its red colors in photo, not only this, all of them.

the alignments from titles and user answers, i not in good view in resumes page and in pdf also, the blue line in photo.

1-the print resume action, its not print action, its save action.

2-in Manage Resume

this 4 actions, does not manage. its add a new box in same part, the old still show and the new will show.
ex: if some user will manage in :Manage References
it will add only a new box about references under old references box.
so its not remove old or edit in same box of old, its just adding a new one without removing old one. and this talking about the for points of :

3-i'm discussing  this mistake or misunderstood points, because i wanna add all wrong points in this module in my term of use for my users also for paypal policy when my users will pay in my website.

@ad96211- Here is how the Manage sections work.

1) You click on any of the manage button

2) You can add a new entry

3) You can uncheck the checkbox for any existing entry you want to remove

4) Each existing entry in the box is a link that you can click on to edit.

Therefore all three actions exist : add, edit and delete.

The Print button brings up the Resume in PDF form and makes it available for either Printing or Saving. You can modify the wording for this and the headers as you wish.

In the admin section of your site, you can go to the languages section and search for the text that you want to modify.

@ad96211 - I will try to address your many concerns below :

StartMonth and EndMonth select boxes has all the available months in a year. I see no logical reason to put those as Predefined Values since the months of the year (January to December) do not change.

StartYear is fixed at 1900 and EndYear will always reflect the current year. If you need to change these for your purpose, you can look for the lines of code below which are found in the file modules\modzzz\resume\classes\BxResumeDb.php :

$iStartYear = 1900;
$iEndYear = date('Y');


The PDF file is a static file that is associated with a particular Resume listing. If you change anything in the Resume listing, you have to regenerate the PDF file. Are you saying that the PDF is reflecting different values than what is showing for the Resume listing even after you regenerate the file ?

There may be minor layout issues with the PDF file. I cannot do anything about that. It depends on the accuracy of the PDF converter mechanism.


For Print action, the alert is : module name => modzzz_resume , action => print

You have entered junk text in the "Work Description" field with some unusually long words which do not break and this has caused more width to be allotted to that section. This will typically not occur when "ordinary" information is entered.


The issue with multiple Youtube entries is resolved and the module has been re-uploaded.

i think you need to find a good coding , some website when i download as PDF, i save it with perfect formatting

i just discover that in your module only, i got more than 10 modules different vendors,

i will tell you some points you should add it in your module desc. its 100% big advantage and positive.

1-you module can show in users Content page, in /member.php under Content that very good and no modules i can see that.

2-you module with all of Predefined Values dropdown only the StartMonth/StartYear/EndMonth/EndYear/ i hope that you will do it as calenderbox next update.

i guess if you add the

3-personal photo in resume PDF

4-country<>state<>city connecting eachother

5-resume fields controlling

you will be completely you will be the #1 on top ten

and that module can minimum cost 250$ to 350$

you know why ?? because after website owner will translate all keys

english user can add resume and other user from other language can read the resume 99% easy

An important issue has been resolved. Please re-upload the following folder : modules/modzzz/resume/classes

How can I disable sub-sectors from being a required field? we don't use them in our use case

Version 2.1.0 released. (See patches/version_2.1.0 folder in zip file)

Added ability for Sub-Sectors to be optional.
