Restriction Message Not Showing

hi.

my site is built on dolphin 6.1.6

i have not added the member action "can chat" to non-members, but i have allowed to chat link to show both to members and nonmembers .

the problem is that when non-members click on chat, they should be given a restriction message, for example "your current membership does not have this feature" or something like it, but it is not showing, only a blank little box is shown without the message.

any solutions are welcome

Taking a shot in the dark here since I havent used 6.1.6 in a while. Go into your admin panel> modules> flash apps. Open the A/V chat settings by clicking the plus sign next to it, and click settings. See if there is an option there to "allow visitors to chat" or something to that affect.

we can allow site visitors to chat from the membership level settings, however thats not the problem, the problem is that, when i restrict them, there should be a message displayed, whenever a user clicks on chat link.

Any other ideas, what can cause the message not to display?
