Renaming root directory

Weirdness. I have my 6.1.6 install in a root folder named /0000 and a backup copy of it in /0000jan26 -- when I point my web browser at /0000jan26 the site loads up fine. If I rename /0000jan26 to /0000 it gives me the message "No database selected." This makes no sense to me. I checked inc/header.inc.php and it's got the correct database listed there, so what else could cause that message?

U should place actual value for variables $dir['root'] and $site['url'] in file inc/header.inc.php. Other way ur /0000jan26 will redirect to /0000 site.
