just change the languagefile. thats the most easy option. I did it too |
Doing so, you will still see clubs in the url. This is a bad practise especially if you have multiple "clubs" modules. |

this is very simple you can go to the module/boonex/clubs/install/langs/en.php
Than you can change the name to your own or translate the language to any other language Post Reply - if you going to help - No for - bla bla bla bla |
Again, en.php will NOT just take care of the rest. There's more work to it. |
Purchased this module. I renamed it per instructions and installed. It works fine, except for one thing. When I click on the Forum link, it goes to a "file not found" page. The original "clubs" mod works fine with the forum, but not the one I changed it to. Any idea where I might have gone wrong. |
Did you forget to add or change in htaccess file? |
Thanks for your help. I actually had changed the htacess file, but only changed the name in one place and not both. Went back and rechecked it and corrected. Works fine now. Thanks again. This mod will save me a lot of money. Which I would have saw it earlier, then it would have saved me even more. :) |
I spent all day trying to get this set up and i keep getting a repeat of this error whenever you try to do anything related to the mod:
what am i missing here? i followed the instructions step-by-step, but i know there has got to be something obvious since i cant seem to find anyone else with this problem. |
Support for Rename "Clubs" Module. Isn't it possible to create a rewrite rule in htaccess to accomplish this?
I also use this mod but im fine with the folder being called clubs. |
hmm, i seem to be the problem child today. so i went through and renamed everything in all the files again just in case i missed something, might have been the case, now im getting a new error: Warning: require_once(/home/lunusgpc/public_html/modules/boonex/games/classes/BxGamesVoting.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/lunusgpc/public_html/inc/utils.inc.php on line 941 any ideas? |
Yes, you could simply use the Clubs module as is with some quick editing of the language file to customize titles... but the advantage of fully renaming the Clubs module is you can have more than one 'copy' running on your site, i.e. using each copy for different tasks. http://pkforum.dolphinhelp.com |
