Remove "Add" button when user does NOT have permission to Add

Is there a way to remove/hide the "Add ____" (e.g. Add Group) button on the upper right of module home pages whenever the member does not have permission to add?  Likewise, is there a way to remove/hide the "My ____" (e.g. My Groups) button whenever the member has not created any instances, e.g. Groups?

It can be done via custom modifications in PHP code only. The mod is needed for each button you want to remove/hide. Dolphin created in such a way that it displayes all possibilities to final members. If the possibility is not available for the member he will be notified about it immediately when he tries to use it. In this case member will be interested to get the possibility to use the feature (purchase required membership level, etc). If the buttons will be hidden then he won't know about the feature at all.
