Related videos sorta working on pages

Hello Community,

My social media site focus on video content for mature adults.

Please do not judge me for the content my users upload.......

I added related video to videos pages but it never seems to appear.

FINALLY, on one video, the related pages appeared, but it cant be cross referenced to previous video. Meaning: Video A has related Video B, but when i click on Video B, Video A is not recommended.Nor do i understand the logic on what it takes for the related videos to appear.

I searched old forums on this site and this is all i can find.

Apparently there used to be a check box in administrator settings that no longer exists.

What controls related videos now?

The Related Items work by the next ways according to the parameter "Disable Full-Text Search" (admin panel->settings->advanced settings->General area):

1) if it is enabled then the system takes the title and tags of this viewed item and inserts all words from there with length more than 2 symbols to the MySQL full-text search.

2) if it is disabled, the system takes all words from the title, description, tags, categories fields and looks all items with any words from this set

Unfortunately the links were still in my browser cache. The guy should be banned. Fancy posting garbage like that here. it's a bloody disgrace.

I am not sure banned, at least not permanently, as he gave a somewhat half way warning; although I was thinking more along the lines of sexually related videos.  I did go over but as soon as I saw what the content was, I didn't click on any of the videos.  However, he should not have posted the links and just asked how related videos work; T&A is one thing, people's faces getting blown off is something else.
