Reinstalling Dolphin

Hi everyone,

I've been using Dolphin 6.1.2 for quite some time and suddenly today, when I tried to access my website, it gives me a "Database Connect Failed" error.

I tried accessing my admin page and it gives me the same error. Practically any page I go to within my domain will give me the same error message.

I'm thinking of reinstalling my Dolphin script. However, I already have over 100 members with videos and photos already in my community.

Is it possible for me to salvage the database and all the photos, videos, blogs, messages etc and still be able to have a nice clean install?

Thanks in advance

moe

The problem seems to be with your host. Probably your hosts mysql server may be down.

FYI: Post your dolphin problems at http://www.dolphinpros.com for help and support.

Database Connect Failed  just mean that script (dolphin) can`t just connect to your database .. yes - host trouble

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
