Registration- how to force them to activate first

To be honest, I absolutely hate the fact that they can use their profiles even though they are not confirmed. Not only that, it's very confusing for them as well.  I want a simpler way.

1. regsiter

2.  take to a page with this message. I don't want this to be part of the avatar page.. very confusing.

"E-MAIL HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY SENT.
YOU SHOULD RECEIVE IT WITHIN A MINUTE."

3. If they login without activation, I want ALL pages asking them to activate their email addresses.  Profile.. video... Chat. I don't want them to miss this important step.

4. If they haven't activated their emails longer than 1 day, their accounts will be removed. This way they can register with their emails again if they forget. Looks like Deano already made one!  Laughing Delete Unconfirmed Members

Has anyone made something like this around here?  Any ideas?

Deano.  I think I found a bug.  I couldn't give you 5 stars on Mac Safari but then I could give 5 stars for ilbellodelweb's module, Deny Unconfirmed on Firefox.  I think Boonex needs to check this on Mac safari and make sure members here can give developers some stars. I tried and there was no way I could give you 5 stars on Safari.
