 OK I am trying to make our site private so I checked the "Registration by invitation only:" button but how do you send an invite to someone. I clicked on invite link and it sent an email with a link to the home page but it still will not allow you signup. Does anyone know how to make this work or have any ideas??? |
When the email sends a link to the person, it will something like http://www.yoursite.com/?idFriend=1 When the user clicks that link it will direct them to your homepage. They can click Join right then and it should allow them. If they navigate away from that page, and it removes the /?idFriend=1 off the URL, then I believe it will not work. Try again.
