 Hi, I would like to know if user click on the add to cart button on the membership page then it show popup message that item has been added to shopping cart. I wan't to change this. I want my user to direct automatically to shopping cart page once user click on add to cart button. so user can see the shopping cart without click on shopping cart page again. any idea. what code to use? |

Yeah, it would at least be nice if the customer could FIND the shopping cart! It took me 5 minutes to find it myself! I have never seen an e-commerce site with the link to the view cart hidden before... Yes, it's under the dashboard menu, but that's a really strange place for it. It should be in plain sight anytime someone adds something to their cart. |
i suppose it redirects after showing the alert popup. so much to do.... |
not got a fix for this, when Ive used store as a site feature, I usually create a html box with a strong visible link to the users shopping cart in it. The default link to cart is easily overlooked by many users.
After making your link in html box, use page access mod and make it viewable only to members. That way users who are not signed in will not see the box. They wont have a shopping cart so no need to see the box! |
