Rebrand App

Hi,

Do i have to  buy Mobile license before rebranding an A phone app ?

I've seen offer on the market for rebranding so are those offer only to customize the app ?

Basically on on top of the payment for the license i still have to pay for the customization ?

Too expensive isn't ?

Thanks

Yes. You have to have a mobile license.

The services in the market are for re branding your apps code which you obtain when you get the license.

And besides the cost of the license, and paying for re branding by someone that knows how to do it if your can't do it yourself, there is also the fees you have to pay just to make them available for download. The fee for apples app store is $99 per year. I believe Google Play has a one time fee of $25.

Not to mention it is also extremely hard to get apps approved by apple to even make it into the store.

In my opinion it is not worth it. I would prefer to make the site itself compatible with mobile. Either through the use of a responsive template, or through a mobile version of the site which the latter would be my preference because trying to cram the entire site onto a tiny screen using a responsive template is just not the right way to do it in my opinion.

But the choice is yours of course.
