Ray Licenses

Anyone else having trouble with Ray Licenses.  All five of my sites simutaneously lost their license infromation.  When I launch the Ray plugin it keeps increasing the number of unregistered widgets I have I believe I am up to over a thousand right now.  I know there re not that many widgets.  When I try to enter my license numbers I get undefined as an error.  Any ideas?

Please see this thread, I think it is the same issue. If you are using Flash 10 it may be.

Alas, I have confirmed it is an Adobe Flash Version 10 problem.  I reinstalled my hard drive and updated all my browsers.  Flash 10 since it is the newest release was loaded on all my browsers.  Go anywhere near your Ray Plugins Base with Flash 10 and it deletes all your licences and will not allow reloading them.  I was able to download Flash 9 for IE, and go back to flash 9 in IE, but Opera and Firefox will not go back to 9.  That makes me stuck doing the one think I loathe, editing my sites in IE.  Check your FLash Plug-in Version, you probably have 10.

Is there a difference in admin'ing using ver 10 (which does not work) vs the user browsing the site with ver 10?

Thank you for posting about this!! I was having the same trouble I use FF 3 and must have the latest flash...and I have not yet updated my IE to v8, so I was able to get it working through IE7 (gag me with a spoon).

guys,

dont even know where i read this, but if you have ran an update on any software that is installed on your local drive, and found in your add/remove programs, you should be able to navigate through that populated list, and tick the box at the top that says show updates. you should be able to remove the update of adobe flash 10 if 9 was installed and upgraded. now if you have installed Flash 10, you are kinda just up a creek. i am sure there is somebody out there on the net that has an archive of flash 8, and 9. just gotta dig with a bigger spoon, or even get your fingernails dirty.

hope these helps some of you with this problem.

This is the link to go and down load Flash 9. http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14266&sliceId=1  Once downloaded you have three simple steps.  First uninstall FLash ten through your control panel on your PC.  Second and third there are two executible files in the download.  The instructions are pretty clear.  One executible to load Flash 9 in IE, the other for FF, and Opera.  Hope this helps
