then I'm stumped - it just doesn't work. The Dolphin and Orca licenses worked just fine, but none of the Ray ones do.

when I have to enter my url to get the licenses, I've tried www.name.com, name.com, http://www.name.com and none work.

Any suggestions? Do I have to change permissions somewhere via ftp to allow the registration maybe?

No,you don't have to be in the FTP Do edit the licences, try to delete the old licences and regenerate new one.Ray doesnt have the url for your website under the licences like Dolphin have after you generate licences for it.Sorry i know how you feel.

I did that earlier - no dice. None of the wiedgets will accept the license numbers.

Are you using a domain name and not just temporary ip number, etc?

i am new here but reading how experienced members posting "noobish" replies makes me laugh,

mate have a look at my answer at this topic:

or simply use ftp,go to ray folder, then modules, then lets choose as example shoutbox, go xml folder and change all files chmod's into 644.then go back and make sure that there is a folder called install in ray>modules>shoutbox if it exist try going to your website into ray widget section and you should figure it out the rest ;)

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
