Ray Chat on IPhone

Is there any way at the moment to access Ray Chat (even if just text only and not audio/video) via the IPhone?

One of our more regular users has an IPhone and can do everything but the Flash apps like chat, of course.  We're currently running Dolphin 6.1 and Ray 3.5 but even if it's possible only in version 7, I'd be interested to hear.

Flash is not available on the iPhone. There may be some third party tricks to get it working, but I'm not aware of any.

Yea, I know Apple is eschewing Flash, so that's why we could really use an app that could handle the Ray chat interface.

I saw a video on Vimeo of someone interfacing the IPhone's accelerometer to his computer via Red5 to control the movement of a cube on the computer screen.

When using the RMS / Media Server, it's all Java backend anyway, right?  You could tap into that with something other than Flash.  Even if that was just the text chat stream, that would be a great big step.

Ray requires Flash. The RMS only provides the back-end needed for audio and video and requires Java (which is also useless for you for what you seem to want). Neither are available on the iPhone. I don't follow what you're getting at.

Hmm, ok, I thought text was carried via Java when the RMS was enabled since there are separate chat rooms, so to speak.  If you are in chat and toggle the RMS on or off, and rejoin chat in another account, it's a separate chat.

In non-RMS mode, the text chat stutters, so I assummed it was using some regular Java chat backend.  In the RMS mode, the text never repeats itself, but I figured the stream would still be able to be intercepted via something else.
