Ray Chat Text

Just like the default here on this forum....the TEXT is sooo small! How do we change the default text size? HELP, we're all going blind! 

On version 3.5 Ray free and Dolphin 6.1.1 free

did you find this yet. its there need to click on the font icon, and the selections are there for font size color and style.

we know how to change the font using the menu.  But we want to change the DEFAULTED size..to something alitltle bigger than the defaul of 11 pix.

i agree the default text for chat and forums is really small.  i am blind as a bat to begin with.  i was looking for it but couldnt find it.   have you looked over at the tinymce web forums yet... may find an answer there.

This not helpful this will only change the CSS values for the orca forum not the chat, hence the groups/orca, and orca/layout!  I would like to know how to do this as well it appears no one from Boonex reads these forums or cares to respond to something that should be so easy to change.

I tend to agree with you bpowers84 this thread is now near 11 months old and no solution.

There are other threads asking the same Question with no reply.

My members are sick of resetting all the settings every time they come in the rooms.

Default setting like font 16 would be great.

I to have searched for hours looking through files and threads before I post in forums.

Come on guys a little help here would be great thanks!

Wow can't believe this thread is so old and no one has posted an answer.

The best way is to download the Ray Chat Flash source files (I cant remember the link but type it into google and it'll come up, somewhere on the BoonEx site).

Open up the source file using Flash and you can change text colour, size, default text etc.

Then you need to put your edited Ray source file into ray/modules/chat/skins and then in Ray Admin you need to make your new skin default.

P.S. You can also change the entire design of Ray Chat. Enjoy!

Yep that Rayz mod worked for me tbombaci. My members are  so happy its finally fixed!! Default size still nowhere to be seen but at least once its set once, it saves the settings - including mute!

Maybe try contacting Rayz direct from expertzzz - he has contact details in the download. I'm sure he could tell you how to set default size.

PS can anyone post a live link to the source Ray skin Flash files?
