Ray, Chat, RMS

I just installed teh latest version of Dolphin all is fine except the chat function. I am using the free version and have generated license but it is not working. When you click on the chat it comes to chat page and show connecting all the time and never get connected. what could be the reason ? I am using rms.boonex.com as well to make it work but it is not working. IS there any free RMS service avaiable? please guide.

I am having the same problem.   I am getting a pop up window with errors like this:

TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
at utils::BxXml()
at modules.global.holder::BxMain()

Can someone please help?

Uncheck the rms box in ray base and your chat  will load.Unfortunately there is no free rms available other than boonex rms but there are some cheap rms hosting especially this one http://www.expertzzz.com/Downloadz/view/5397

Thank you for your reply.  I have installed Ray Media Server on my dedicated Linux box.  I have tested it and verified it is working properly:

So as you can see, my problem is not related to the installation, but the configuration...  Can you provide further insight?

Hi adam,

On your screenshot i see that rms is not checked.If you are using dedicated server you should check it. I had this problem once what i did is i replaced the whole chat folder with the original ray suite chat and set permission as instructed and it works, maybe you could try that if it still doesnt work.

I check the setting in Base and it's still not working.  Please note that I am able to view the A/V Chat from the admin area:

So the problem doesn't seem to be an RMS issue, but there's something I'm missing....

Hi Adam,

If you chat is working in admin then the issue is either on some files or permission settings inside chat folder. Try to replace the whole chat folder with the original from dolphin package and dont forget to set correct permission  for files in this folder. If you still unable to get this problem solved i suggest contacting Rayzzz or Esase in here.

Could someone help me please?

I am having the same problem. I have followed all the information below to get it work and it still does not work for me. In fact both the "Boards" and "Chat" do not work, they just sit there continually saying "loading" for chat and "connecting" for boards, but it doesn't ever connect.

I have tried reinstalling the ray folder and such, but nothing is working right. I'm confused.

*Update* Got the "Boards" to work, but Chat still is not working and can't figure out why when everything else does.
