Rate my site please

Hi new to all this could you be kind and rate my site please and suggest any changes you would make or if I doing wrong, thank you for taking the time to look.

A few things to consider:

• Get a higher-resolution logo.  The current one looks like it was waterboarded (as most compressed JPGs are).
• Move the social networking and sharing icons somewhere else.  Having them next to the logo like that is horrible.
• Find some new images for the promo area.  Take advantage of that space.
• Be careful with 3-column layouts.  Keep in mind smaller screen sizes and the content in each block.
• Get rid of the default text under about, etc.

You need a graphic logo (some kind of image) and some decent full sized promo images..... Like nathan P says "Take advantage of that space".

I can do promo images for a small fee if you want to message me. Check some samples at www.globaldancenetwork.com. I used to have a 3 column layout but changed to 2 columns.

I like the colours but it needs some kind of life throwing into it...

looks good, id change the logo and go from 3 columns to two, and fix the promo pics.

key thing is take your time and do it slow and right, took me about a year to get mine where i wanted it and im still working on a list of things,,  you will mess with different logos and move blocks around forever till you get it where you like it.

 but once you get a certain direction and get members flowing in, only make small changes here and there,, people are creature of habit and get use to certain things and tend to freak over major changes

when i started out i went from one site to another here in the sites list and seen what others had that i wanted and picked ideas from them. so yeah you should browse other sites and get an idea and kinda a vison what you want your site to be.

OH AND MAKE A LIST!.. i mean it take a pencil and a paper and jot down things you want to change as you come across them "took me about 10 months to getting around to changing the about default text" but after you have that list add to it as you go and try to mark off a few things a day, or week what ever time you have, i still have my list taped to the side of my second monitor.

I think it is useful to have Sounds and Photos in the top menu for this type of site.

Your home page looks great.. I do see your being flooded by spammer accounts. You should read this topic on how to reduce these accounts.

This is simply done by adding an extra common sense question to your join form, or splitting the join form into "two" sections.
