RSS feeds not working

I am having trouble getting an RSS feed to show. I put the feed in through the Admin pnel as I always have, but it still just gives me the loading graphic. nothing happens, same with the forums feed.

Try posting this RSS feed. I know it works because I use it.

it's not just the RSS feed, its the forums too. This is what is strange, could it be a problem with ALL RSS?

So let me get this straight, You logged into your Admin Panel. Clicked on Builders, You choose a page (let's say the homepage) and dragged a RSS Feed block and placed it where you wanted the feed. You click the block, add the URL and nothing happens from all the RSS feeds you were given?

It looks like your server forbids outgoing connections from your server, please contact your hosting support to resolve this issue.

server says there is no problem there. I just noticed that he BOONEX feeds in my admin panel are not working either... So that tells me NO RSS is happening throughout D7, or at least my installation.

It definitely looks like outgoing connections are blocked.

AlexT: how do i fix this?

Ask your hosting support to allow outgoing connections from your server to others and outgoing connections from your server to the server itself (for forum rss feeds)
