RSS Submittal

OK kiddies...here is a new one for ya!

-

Tried to submit my forum feed to one of "those" companies.... i.e. http://www.rss-network.com

-

When I plug in ANY feed from a Dolphin/Orca forum, it gives this error:

-

Error occurred while updating table 'items'

-

This is the format from the RSS link:

-

http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/rss/forum/Dolphin-6.0.0004.htm

-

How can this be fixed so that we can submit our RSS feeds????????????

That is for them to be displayable on our Dolphin sites....

What I mean by displayable Rob, is that when you use builder to add an RSS block...and add feed from another site.

Wow this is really strange...some of the feeds in Boonex validate, some don't.

Here is one from my forum:

-

Sorry

This feed does not validate.

  • line 7, column 45: lastBuildDate must be an RFC-822 date-time: Sat, 13 Sep 2008 2:08:15 GMT [help]

In addition, interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendation.

  • line 16, column 1: Missing atom:link with rel="self" [help]

So it has to do with the date!

How and where do I fix that?

Come on now...I didn't code this stuff on the RSS, Boonex did. Surely someone knows how to make it validate.
