Has anyone had any luck using the Ray Suite on a website hosted by Arvixe? They have added my domain to their Ray server and provided me with the proper IP address and ports, but I'm still not having any luck connecting. Each time I try, I'm getting the dreaded "Can't Connect To RMS" error. |
I spoke with them over the phone the other day and was told that they are not set up for 6.1.5 and up. I was apparently the only one who had upgraded.
With the new 6.1.6 download, there is a Ray Media Center upgrade for those that are on 6.1.5 and up. I am assuming this will also work with downward compatibility for 6.1.4 and below...

I have just moved my site to arvixe and the rms is working in the av chat, the video recorder, but not the instant messenger. I don't know why, and I'm trying to figure it out. If anyone knows... Ah, and I am working with dolphin 615, should I wait to upload to the 616 version? Sleepless |
I am using the 6.1.6 version at the moment and the RMS isn't working just yet with that version. Someone needs to call them or let them know that the RMS is updated to allow 6.1.5 and up on Boonex's site now for them to upgrade to so we can all use it.
I might tomorrow, but don't quote me on it. Right now, trying to hammer out a very odd ccbill issue.

We now offer the latest RMS for 6.1.6. Please contact support for the port number information and to get your domain added to the access list. Do note that all hosting providers partnering with BoonEX were only notified yesterday and the auto-updater was only updated yesterday with the new version as well.
Considering that older users can't use the newer RMS, and the fact that no hosting provider offers RMS for less than $50 a month, I'd be very surprised to find any host that will have the latest RMS on their servers even in the next few weeks to months.

Now to get the ccbill issue fixed and I will be one super happy customer!

I'm using Arvixe and RMS is running fine. Through 6.1.4 to 6.1.6, it never stopped working so maybe I was just lucky. Arvixe has been great and very reponsive to any issues I've had. |
