Now i seem to have a problem
if you go to http://ezservices.co.uk/dolph/m/chat/home/ or http://dolphinchat.com/m/chat/home/ all the chat does is linger with the word "connecting" my VPS supplier has reset and restarted RMS/red5 several times, chat with work then within minutes fail again.
all ports etc are are open as this worked initially
chats with my DC are below
"Hello,
I can see that everything has been configured according to the link http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/RayMediaServerInstallation
Can you please let us know which IP to be set in webapp.virtualHost in /opt/ray_server/RMS_7.0/webapps/chat/WEB-INF/red5-web.properties"
"Hi
This should be the main server IP 67.23.231.27
this should also be in WEB-INF/red5-web.properties of board, chat, im, video and global ("global" is only for 3.5 version). "
"Hello,
Chat is working fine. I have added the service to chkservd and this will restart red5 once if the service crashes.
Let me know if you face any troubles."
"Hi
Thanks
Now i have received 65 of these email messages
"red5 failed @ Wed Oct 20 10:39:37 2010. A restart was attempted automagically.
Service Check Method: [tcp connect]
Failure Reason: Service check failed to completered5: [HTT != 220]"
"Hi
Chat is not working "
"Hello,
I have removed the red5 service from chkservd. I have investigated deep into the issue and unable to find the cause of the issue.
Have you made any changes from your side, if so please update so that I can investigate the issue further."
"Hi
I have never made any changes, once RMS is installed their is no changes needed. "
"Hello,
Chat is working fine now. Please check."
"Hi
sorry but its not working, it just hangs on saying "connecting" and nothing else "
"Terry,
We are sorry to say that this issue needs to be consulted with the script vendor.
==========================
root@alpha [/]# /etc/init.d/red5 status
red5 (pid 14190) is running...
root@alpha [/]#
==========================
The red5 server is fine working on your VPS and the script which is not bringing up the chat session, so you may contact the script support regarding this.
Thanks for your understanding in this."
