RMS -- Issues...

So I'm having a wee bit of a problem with RMS.  I'm trying to connect using the free version of ray, using the default RMS settings.  I keep getting access denied.  Thinking perhaps the RMS was down, I installed a copy of the Ray RMS server on my Redhat Server.  However, I could not connect to that either.  While I have installed boonex many times, this is the first time I have ever needed to configure the RMS.  I was wondering if anyone might be able to offer some advice.  I greatly appreciate any time put into this matter.

Sincerely,

Michael

Hey,

I'm not high enough up the food chain to know how to configure RMS with a linux server or the like.

But.... I paid Dolphin Geeks (www.dolphingeeks.com). $35 and they installed RMS for me. They said they've done a whole boatload of Dolphin work over the last year or so; including some sites with over 10k users. So I trusted them. They did the job.

We are all about free..free...free, but if you are busy $35 bucks is cheap. Also...NOBODY works for $35 an hour when it comes to tech stuff. Your ISP guys are going to want $50-150 an hour to give your web server some TLC (If you get in a bind).

So... this is one solution. The down side is you don't learn how it works so you don't learn how to fix it in an error event.

If you use Dolphin Geeks. Tell them I sent you. I get no kick back from them but I promised them I would give them a customer testimonial to put on their website but I never did. I figure this sort of counts for that.

if you need RMS installed, i can do that for you, the alternative for that is I also offer a stand alone RMS hosting package for $5.00 a month or $50.00 a year. if you want to learn how to do it yourself, i can do this as well. Of course one on one costs more time and more money, but we can come to some terms if that is what you are actually looking to do? just let me know
