Questions about the Profile Generator 2.5 from Netgate !

profile grabber is illegal, and using profile generators, or loading profiles from sources such as netgate, will get you in trouble legally. the country where this author is from, obviously the laws are much looser, but in the UK and US, you will not find that to be the same. 

i know of several who have purchased these profile scripts, and have shortly thereafter received correspondence from attorneys demanding the removal of certain profiles that were illegally distributed. 

get your money back, and get your members the old fashion way.

I will go ahead and get my money back from paypal. I'm just curious that since Profile Generator from Netgate is illegal, why it's still allowed to be sold in Boonex? It should be removed from the market same as Profile Grabber, so Boonex's new users like me wouldn't get into trouble with this script.

Profile Grabber was removed from sale for an obvious reason (read: the name).  I don't like Profile Generator, but, as far as I know, it doesn't break the rules.  It's true that some people use it for deceiving people into purchasing membership on sites, but most don't seem to do this.  But it's controversial, regardless.
