Question about profile fields

Hi all i was wondering if there is anyway of allowing a member to be able to select what on thier profile is displayed to whome. For example on my site i have made fields sutch as "Contact Info" with fileds sutch as "AIM, ICQ, YAHOO, SKYPE" ect is there a way of in a users settings alowwing them to choos if fields like i have made be avaliable to just friends or to all, basicaly like you can on facebook
