Question about new 'Outline' - Wall feature

Here's a question that could effect people when it comes time to upgrade to 7.1, especially those wanting to use the new 'Outline' feature for home page content.

At the moment, any new content that is outline enabled will post also in the outline box.

However, any content that is posted before outline is enabled will not be seen in outline.

I guess its the same for Wall etc which this seems to be based on (timeline)

Im building a couple of new sites at the moment ready for 7.1 release, and want all the content to appear in Outline. I have been building them using 7.0.9 just to get the launch content in place, but am aware that this will not show in outline unless I repost it all after enabling the Timeline mod!

Is there an easier way to get all site content into Outline, even pre-outline content? Or will I simply have to repost anything that I want seen in Outline?

"Outline" feature from Timeline module doesn't use its own unique DB table. It takes data from default Timeline's DB table but filters some unnecessary events like "Profile was updated", "Status was changed", etc. So, you shouldn't have any problems with earlier added content after you'll update up to 7.1. The data should be  displayed immediately without any additional operations.

May be a bit early for this next question but... how easy do you think it will be to add articles to the outline? Im planning on using them as a main part of the site, but at the moment they are not included in timeline.
