Proper Documentation??

Hello

I spent hours last night looking for proper documentation on how to properly setup and configure 7.0 version. I cant find any doco, that allows me to understand How to even allow a member to have a profile image on a profile.

Granted this is the first time I am using this program, I have not yet bought the upgrade versions, as I FIRST am making sure I can set this up with ease, Once I know it is going to be all good and it does exactly what I want it to do, then I will be paying for the upgrade versions. Not sure if I am off to a good start though.

The lack of documentation is ridiculous! I cant even find anything suitable from Google! (Google need to sort out there issues as well)

If anyone would like to enlighten me on where some explanations to how to actually use and successfully setup a community I know for one I would be very appreciated to be pointed in the "right" direction, as Spending hours just looking for one thing is really stupid.

There is no paying for upgrade versions. I think you are misunderstanding what the licence is for and why.

Anyhow. Other than what is here. http://www.boonex.com/help which is mostly an install guide and hosting requirements and a few other documents. There is no complete user guide.

Thats what these forums are for. Need help figuring something out, then just ask.

You will quickly find that Dolphin is more or less supported by the community and not by any documentation. As Deano stated, If you have any issues, the best thing to do is FIRST search the forums. If you do not find your issue(s) (would be quite rare if you didn't), then post a new topic here and one of our members should be able to assist you.

As mentioned, Dolphin is a do-it-yourself kinda deal. You'll find lots of help here, but you're going to have to hone your search skills and your patience (of course you don't have to, but you'll save yourself a lot of frustration if you do). We've all lamented the lack of a one-spot manual but all the info (or most of it) is here if you look.

You should be able to find much of what you are looking for in the links above. And even more by searching the forums. Once you've exhausted those resources, then you can just post ?'s here and generally you'll get help of some sort or another.
