Proof Positive a Fact the Player Starts @0

Or and I like this better is to have a custom thumbnail upload so a person can USE whatever is the most appropriate for the site and or video...Having a blank BLACK hole on a wonderfully designed page defeats the entire purpose of having a FANTASTIC video that grabs one attention by the thumbnail tease.  I will go one further with applied research, I have 1250 +/- friends on FB and ANY post ANY post without a thumbnail is followed 75% less than ones that have one.  It is what it is and I only provide what I know to be true this is not just a thought it is a fact...

Really such an important aspect of the site that has just been proven to be at issue and it goes unanswered?  How in the world can you just ignore this?  If it is a lack of understanding please ask but clearly address that you understand the issue and are looking for an option?  To just let it go unanswered really is quite a conundrum?  In other words can and did prove this is an issue with 0 doubt.  

i already explained how to fix it in your other forum post.  For all videos on the site already  your SOL unless you upload them again after my fix is applied to get the thumbnail. 

If you are talking about the two places to make the changes post? Then it clearly is a misunderstanding as I've stated and now proved if a movie has a blank or 0 starting place that is blank the movie player will start at that 0.  I added a picture to the zero spot and uploaded it to my site and the player started on that picture which has nothing to do with the thumbnail and the code you so kindly shared dealing with grabbing the thumbnail which is used in other spots on the site but not the player.  I have no idea how to make this more clear.  I have been uploading and editing video for 12 years. I can edit video with the best of them and I am beyond convinced I am correct for this by adding a picture to the zero spot.  I also have done your suggested edits which work for grabbing thumbnails used in other spots on the site.  Do you edit video do you know videos are a series of pictures one after another that each hold a spot starting at 0.  I set your codes to 20 seconds in.  The point being for the LAST TIME the player itself without question STARTS at 0 I pointed this out by showing the other picture which I will attach here as well...

So the programming has been set to 20 seconds in and the player is blank which is just about impossible for it to be blank so the only way this is wrong is if the programming was not changed correctly.  So please explain to me how the program can grab the thumbnail which it did but yet the player shows no thumbnail?  Could this be a privacy issue?  However the only thing that shows the player is not using the picture 20 seconds in is the fact it showed the picture at the 0 spot.
