Profile update not saving

As admin when I try to update member's profile the page does not get saved. No error but nothing happens and the page remain static without saving the change. Is this a bug? Please suggest how to fix.

Have you verified that you are not forgetting something require maybe? I would look for any red exclamation points after doing your update. There may be a field that you are missing. Also note that some fields require a minimum amount of characters. You may also check to make sure that you are not receiving any type of "security attack" from what you are entering.

Thanks for the reply. All I am trying to do as admin is to change the membership level and tick the 'featured' box. But when I bring a member's profile up I have noticed that the browser shows as 'transferring data from www. ....' and never shows it as 'done'. This is does not happen with other pages. Hope these additional info give some clue to the problem.

Understood. However, you will not be able to save the changes if some of the required fields are blank. Does the member have everything filled in?

I have this problem when with the MEMBERS ACCOUNTS. as an ADMIN i can make any changes to the profile and it sticks. BUT when i log in as a MEMBER the it saves (but it doesn't) and DEACTIVATES the member; and then the changes don't take place.

it's wired. i have tried to changes the permission but nothing has worked so far.

Did you try with a different browser, the reason is I had a "theme" on the previous version of Firefox, that somehow prevented

me from updating, I basically "save" and nothing would happen, I could not figure it out, it is only when I changed to a new "theme" on FF

yes i did try a different browser. The same result. My user profiles get deactivated ride=a=way!

I can edit any profile of user as ADMIN. (in any browser)

but when i login as member, after I click "Save" page is static. doesn't go anywhere. 'transferring data from www. ....'
