Profile items and topics not showing up

I have installed this on two diffrent servers thinking it might be a server issue but it does the same on either server.  Basically Im adding items and topics in the profile builder making sure its set for the right person viewing it and everything.

None of my created topics for views show up after the user has filled in the profile.

Could someone please advise me on what this is. I am sure its something lame that my noobness is missing...

Thanks alot

Okay, this may sound stupid, but I'm pretty sure it's your problem.  So humor me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing I'm not.

When you create the item in the Field Builders on the Join page are you then going and adding it to the necessary profile view pages.  By this I mean, edit, member, owner, admin, moderator and so on.  You have to do this for each individual page or it won't show on that specific page.  Maybe show up on other pages and so onn.

I really wish I could say thats my problem but no its not...

They just dont show up.. they are showing up in the database because they are loading themselves each time from the admin panel.. they just arent showing up on page views

Okay, clear your browser & servers caches.  If this does not work, then recompile the language settings from the Admin Panel by either using the Recompile button or logging into field Builders from Admin panel and moving a couple of blocks around.

Also, try installing a new browser you've never used and bringing the pages up that way.  Say Opera or Safari for example.  This will tell you if it's in your browser or directly with the server.

Hmm, I have cleared all caches and nothing, I have also recompiled language settings and still nothing.

Where as I know that dolphin can be tricky with caches sometimes, chances are I could assume that its still suppose to update profile text regaurdless of cache...

I'm pretty sure I know what this is, and it is really really simple.  If you'd like me to fix it I need Admin Panel access.

See my first post on this page.  Its sounding like you have not added these items to all the pages, or you forgot to click the boxes in the Field Builders/Page Builders pages to make them viewable.  Yes, you have to do it in both of them before they will show up.  Also, don't forget to add captons for each field on each page

Hi RayAlan,

If I understand well, you created new blocks and they don't show, am I right? Cause I already had that problem and the trick was to simply move a little the blocks with your mouse (sorry for my bad English) and then let them slide back into place. I mean the blocks in the Builder. It worked for me.

And the lady is right on that, as it does happen from time to time.  Point for the good advice, between the 2 of us he should be able to get them to show up.
