 Hi,

To this mod - no, it allows to play an entire album only.

But we will think about a new module for the feature you requested (a personal player with the ability to make own playlists from any available sounds on the site).

Hello AntonLV,

Will profile page still have the other option to listen to sounds via the default module? If i remove the default sound module block in page builder for the profile page, will the user still have the option to use this add on? I have it set right now that if a visitor arrives at any profile page, video auto plays, would i need to change that, or can the author of page have the option to choose which one auto plays first?

Everyday is a new beginning.

Yes, sure. This addon isn't replacing any existing functionality.

Probably you will need to change that. The module isn't able to control the autoplay option of other modules.

The module was updated.

New features:

  • Allows to reorder songs using drag'n'drop feature. The order set by a profile owner is persistent (saved in a database). The order set by a guest is stored during player's session.
  • Allows for songs removal from the playlist (stored during player's session).
  • Allows admin to choose default width and height for a popup window (a window of a detached player).
  • Allows admin to choose either of 2 available skins - blue.monday (in light blue colors for white templates) or pink.flags (dark pink colors for dark templates)

Notice that if you already have the older version of the module then you need to uninstall it prior to installing the updated version.

It must be in [admin panel -> modules -> profile mp3 player]. If it is not there then ensure that you did the update correctly. Did you uninstalled the old version first before uploading and installing a new version?

Check the module's version at [admin panel -> modules -> add & manage], it must be 1.1.0

New in version 1.2:

Provides an embed code for the profile owner, which may be used to place a player on any website that allows to paste in embed codes. For example you can easily place that player with any of your sound albums to your site's homepage using pages builder of admin panel. Or to any other site for promotional purposes.

Edit the file modules/aqb/profile_mp3_player/templates/base/player_object.html, after the line

    smoothPlayBar: true,

add the line

    volume: 0.5,

Save it and clean your site's HTML cache.

The volume value can vary from 0 to 1.

Is there a setting to enable autoplay for mobile?

The module offers a configurable autoplay option out of the box. Doesn't it work for you on mobile?

It doesn't. I visit a profile on a mobile device and the player won't autoplay

It turns out that nowadays most of the mobile browsers don't support audio/video autoplay to save mobile bandwidth. So this setting is being ignored by the mobile browsers themselves.
