 One of my members cannot edit any item on her Profile, when she clicks on Save Button, it shows an error (Red Circle). She tried changing password and same error, but it does not show where the error is occurring. Normally when an error is indicated it shows near the Save button and the corresponding place where the error was entered. In this case there is no indication of where the error is occurring. I as admin cannot duplicate the error. Any ideas? |
Hello Looks like you have some mandatory field(s) which is not available for common members. In this case user cannot enter anything into the field but the script requires to have something there and displays an error near Save button, but it also cannot disaplay Red Circle near the specific field because it's hidden. I checked my Profile Edit page (in backend of site) against a standard Members Profile Edit page. All the fields I have set from Admin are showing the same on the members Profile.There does not seem to anything unusual. I also created a new member and edited the Profile and get no error messages. By the way out of curiosity how do you set a hidden field or how do you find it? Kindly advise.
