Profile Comments

Since upgrading to  7.1  I'm no longer able to post profile comments.

When I enter a comment and click on 'Post' I recieve the following message:  "Please enter 3-2048 characters"

This is despite my comment being over 3 characters in length. Can anyone help please?

There is a conflict issue with the timeline on the profile page.

Thanks Geek. Does that mean 'profile comments' and 'timeline' can not work simultaneously on the same page? Is there a fix to this or is this a known problem that has not yet been resolved? Has anyone managed to get both working on the profile page?

This is strange because on one of my community sites I can use both timeline and profile comments together. Yet on another site they do not work together and I get the error message "Please enter 3-2048 characters". So why would it work on one site and not another!

You can have the "post to timeline" block on the profile page and profile comments will work.  You can not have the timeline on the profile page.  Check to make sure you added the correct block.
