Problems with D7 rc to rc2

Hello!

I had almost no issues on passing from rc to rc2 of dolphin 7.

-At the end, the manual part, it has an error (basically in english) where it says "Recompile language files for all modules from admin panel -> Tools -> Modules". The languages are recompiled in Settings, language settings (I know it is stupid to say this because everybody knows, but...)

-Also at the manual part of the upgrade script... I clicked the profiler and world map modules and there was no reinstall option. There is only uninstall, but the script says not to uninstall, what do I do?

-My site has the boonex footers... I have a dolphin license, but I was never asked to put it, not even when I installed the rc1, what do I do?

Boonex, great job!

Thanks in advance to whoever answers to my questions,

Francisca

Of course, about the language, I am the stupid one, the language that is supposed to be recompiled is the modules language... But my other questions remain, especially the one about the license....

If you are having issues with your license, remove the license key, save and logout completely.

Access your admin panel by going to www.yoursite.com/administration.

It will prompt you to enter your license key again. Enter it and click submit. That should fix that.

As far as re-installing the modules. You can uninstall them then reinstall them back. If you do not use the world map or profiler, please feel free to remove them after you have done that.

Zarcon, thank you so much! The license thing worked!!!!

As for the modules, do I need to unistall and reinstall, or can I leave them?

Thank you, thank you, thank you,

You need to uninstall them and re-install them in order for the upgrade to complete. After you do that , you can remove them again if you do not use them.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
