Problem with turkish letters I-Ş-Ğ

Dear dolphin 6.1.6 users

my dolphin site worked in english and also in turkish until I upgrated to Version 6.1.6. After upgratet 6.1.6 the turkish

letters  I-Ş-Ğ changed to interrogation points (?). I checked the language file it is UTF-8

How can be the Turkish letters   I-Ş-Ğ  shown properly?

Please help me. Thank you.

Do a search for nicknames & foreign languages.  Not sure which language, probably russian or chinese, it will show you the files to edit to make all of this start to work for you.

Personally, I've translated D6.1.6 into Japanese, Chinese, Russian and German and had no issues with the unique, non-latin, characters in any of them with the exception of nicknames.  Then it's a simple file edit to correct them.  Also, where Turkish is calling an apostrophe, try to use an accent symbol.  (Located next to the number 1 key, just press shift)

Mydatery  thanks a lot for your fast answer. Smile

But my problem with the turkish letters belongs to the hole content in the database not to the nickname.

For example please look at:

http://www.keleci.com/news.php

http://www.keleci.com/links.php

http://www.keleci.com/about_us.php

Also in the messages between users are interrogation points (?) shown. This Problem belongs to  only 3 turkisch letters I-Ş-Ğ. For example the turkish letter Ç is shown properly.

Further it works all properly. I don´t know wyh it suddenly changed.

Thanks
