I put this out there a week ago, but got no response. I thought I`ll give it another try to see if anyone here knows why this happens when I translate a mod lang file..

I am manually translating a site by translating the main lang-file in "root/langs" into my native language, and it has all gone pretty well until I started installing modules.
I spent hours translating sentences in the main language file yesterday, uploaded it and replaced it with the previous file, and reloaded the page. Then it all seemed great! The top right "Profile, account, logout" was also translated as were a lot of language logical errors that came naturally with the first translation of the main language file.
After that, I translated a mod language file, uploaded it and recompiled the language file for that module. When I reloaded the site again, all changes I spent hours on in the main system language file was annulled. The previous translations are there, though. Do any of you know what this can be caused by?
Please help me, thought this is a big problem, and I can`t seem to get the whole site translated properly :-(.
