hello there, try in FF and see if it works there, also, you may want to try to update your java, and update IE.

Switching browsers is only helpful to help work out if it is a browser problem or an install or setup problem. You can't ask your members not to use their favorite browser!

However, Firefox does have useful plug-ins (such as Web Developer and, for advanced users, Firebug) that can help you diagnose problems.

stedracu - post the url and I (and/or more knowledgeable people) will have a look and see if we can suggest anything.

I love it when people instantly start out telling the newbies to use a different browser.  As Stevehards said, that only works if it's an install/debug issue and is not something that works well across the board as an end solution.  To help out the Opie on this, have you installed any mods that required replacing or majorly modifying the general.css file?

I've actually seen templates that look great, but they have caused this exact problem to occur, specifically it's had to do with a certain template (I won't mention Simply Black) that when the creator rounded the corners at the top of the pages (topmost menu section) it caused the calendar to error out, don't ask, just had to dig and dig through it to figure it all out in the end and was surprised to find that was the issue.

So, the question is, what have you done with your site and are you getting any errors reports in your e-mail?

Hi, thank you all to try to help me.

The site is www.spiridusi.ro/chat6

On FF and Safari4 work fine, i think to have some error in the page, IE (for windows) show me on the left botton (yellow mark) but i don't know how to resolve.

I upgrad IE from 7 to 8 and the page error still there, but the date somtime work, somtime not...

Thank you

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, stedracu. I can see the problem in IE with not being able to click on the member's day of birth in the calendar, and the yellow error triangle. Unfortunately, IE doesn't tell you what the error(s) are. It says there are some, but they are not enough to stop the page from working. In the same browser, on my site, the calendar works and there is no yellow triangle, so it is a problem caused by your site setup.

In Firefox, with the Web Developer toolbar, there are a lot of errors reported but, because they are all minor, FF doesn't bother to give the error message like IE.

However, I can see a warning that the voting popup you are using from www.top123.ro is conflicting with the doubleclick.net advert server and my instinct is that the voting popup may be causing the problem. How about getting rid of it and see if that helps?

I've had the chance to work with this problem a little bit, and the problem I've found appears specifically at one point, when using a template from nuknspak that has rounded corners on it.  For some reason, the top rounded corners on Simple Black caused this issue (I recall that from many months ago, just had to dig my brain for it and I was able to fix it them by replacing a section of the templates general.css with the code from the original templates general.css file), now I'm finding myself looking for that dang section of code again as I'm seeing the problem again in regards to another site that's utilizing his Simple Template.

Gawd do I hate digging like this!

I think the solution to your problem has been found, and you won't believe what it is!  Look for the word expression in your templates/tmpl_sml/css/general.css file.  If it's there, that is your issue, new thread being done for this to explain it fully.
