Problem with Language Creator module

Hello,

I have problem with Language Creator module from scriptologist. I try translate language keys with Google Translate but after translate to for eg portuguese language - all subtitles are blank. I need this module to work. Vendor of this module told me that I have something wrong with Google API key, but I refresh key and this not helped.

Please help, how to fix this?

best option is the microsoft translation in this module.
make sure you have all the settings correct.

php-soap needs to be installed on your server to make this work right.

is that installed? i had some trouble at the beginning. after php-soap was installed microsoft transl. worked fine.

I use free translation and what is missing i translate myself.

but all the lang keys are tranlated. unless you have more then 20.000 keys or so... :-)

Can Dolphin team create a lang script where the users can input any language they want ?

with this mod. you can create any lang file you want. then you can tranlate the keys from en to that language you created
unless you have made up a new language then you are on your own and have to do it by hand :-)

I'll be glad if I can add 2-3 languages for now, I hope 20.000 keys is enough for that. If you had a similar problem earlier this mean that php-soap should help :)

Yes after i got php-soap installed it worked fine.
you can see in your error line that it tries to call the soap function. (SoapClient)

Are you on shared or VPS? if shared then you should ask you hosting company if it's possible to install this mod for you.
On VPS it should not be any problem. I translated 9000 keys with microsoft option and no issues what so ever.

I have dedicated server, so I contacted with my hosting support. They told me:

The PHP-soap module is installed on your server.

so this mean I have already php-soap but this not helped :( what could be a reason?

is this mod active? it could be installed but not running...
check if it's a active module.

or PM the developer of this mod. he is very helpful.

Yes, you need to install/enable the PHP-SOAP module on your server and follow the readme on how to activate the Microsoft translate from their site. If you still need help, please send me your ftp and admin info.

 You need to choose google then put your Google API Key:Make sure you  put your credit card and so on. So google can charge you if you go over 2000 words. it is not free.

I had the same problem you are having now. Because I did not put a payment on my google account. Now everything work fine.

even if you are going to translate just 1,000 words you still have to put a payment  sof if you go over 2000 words you will get charge around $10 to $22.

if php-soap is running(active) and you installed the lang creator module the right way and you followed the instructions then it should work just fine. I have google translation and Microsoft translation and it's all free!!

Just do exactly as the instruction says. I just translated another 6000 lang keys without any problems.

@ Areavis, you pasted the following settings in previous post:

# php -m|grep -i soap

If that is what the entry looks like in your php.ini file, then if I am not mistaken, the # in front has that command disabled (commented out). In order to 'activate' that command, you will need to remove that # sign then save it back to your root directory.

Thanks, I did not know yet that Google introduced a paid version. I care mostly on a free translation, and eventually  add the missing keys by my self as posted earlier solusoft :)
So whether it is possible to set up to 2000 words on Google?

 Yes. I did everything according to the instructions and I have installed php-soap and turned on - on my server. But for me it does not work and there is still the problem of translation from Microsoft (get an error) and Google (there are blank spaces).

MyMemory have not tested yet but from what I think is payable.

I contacted today in this case with my server support and show this post. They told me:

# php -m|grep -i soap is linux command that is showing that soap module is installed.
It is not setting in php.ini so it cannot be uncommented.

If you open http://www.areavis.com/phpinfo.php you will see that soap is enabled and you will see all other php settings.

did you setup a active Azure Market Place Subscription with the correct credentials?
In the msg below it says that it cannot find this... maybe that is your issue. you have to give the site url. maybe that is wrong!

Just use Google... Microsoft translator did not work for me either...

 Google Translate not work for me as I said earlier, when translated using Google, nothing shows. I have a blank subtitles. Is there any way to fix it?

I think microsoft translation is the one you go for... but set up is a bit tricky.
