Do you get this in your forum if you have a forum too? If so most likely your host changed a setting and you need to clear some temp files. Once cleared they will be reset and hopefully work like normal again.

For forums clear:
/forums/conf/params.conf

rename or delete it.

for groups:

similarly I don't use groups. But perhaps it will be the same struct as forums

groups/orca/conf/params.conf

Or you get the idea and folder structure.

Just a thought and without further info it's hard to tell, so this is just speculation and a thought.

If you are unsure you can simply rename the potential file params.conf to parmas1.conf or similar.

Good Luck

This happens alot when hosts change the way they do things and original file were originally set to do one thing. Once they change the setup they get confused and you see an error like this.

Then when you log back in a new file will be generated such as params.conf with your new setting and all should potentially be well if your host don't mess with things again.

But ther are not files or foldes "groups/orca/conf/"

So, what can i do?

I see that the URL file access is disabled in your server configuration, your isp kan have done this. So you need first ask them if this can reversed.  Then normal should the error be gone.

How i can enabled this file?

Quote · 31 May 2009

It`s just a question, i must install Orca is well?

Quote · 31 May 2009

Yes you need this, becaus groups use the orca forum.

I think you need to ask your isp, or it must into the php.ini of your server if you have cpane or direct admin you have to look at editing files in your root of admin. Look for php.ini.
If you change there something the httpd must be reloaded or restarted before it works.

Have you setting off the php.ini file, or the option that was giving the error?
php.ini itself is needed to run your server. :)

This is the problem: Warning: file_get_contents() [function.file-get-contents]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration

So this must be done by your isp/hosting.

Are there changed paths?
Look into your inc/header.php if there are changes..

Yes i have the php.ini turned off.

If i enable the php.ini the group function is still down.

i now there is a _global.php.ini so the databank are work.

Why orca not creat the group site or forum folder in the orca folder???
