Private settings not working on membership levels

So I'm not sure what's going on...no matter how I try to do it, nothing seems to work as far as restricting certain areas of my site to certain membership levels.

The Page Access Module is not stopping the groups that I have selected to not have access...

And now standard members, who I do not have allowed access to private forum posts, are still able to see private forums. 

I have cleared the cache...triple checked all of the settings...but still any membership level can get to any section of my site.

Anyone have any ideas? This is really getting frustrating.

Not sure, but it seems like you are not setting the restrictions correctly in page access module. I would check again and make sure you have the correct settings in the page access module and/or membership levels. Also, what areas/pages are you trying to restrict?

I was having similar problems with the Page Access Module, I discovered that when I would  uncheck the level I wanted to restrict, they still had access.  That's when I realized I needed to uncheck the ALL selection also, then only the ones checked had access.  Don't know if this helps.

 I suppose this bug is fixed.

ALL membership levels can still get to that page, however. It's like the settings don't exist. I don't even see the "ALL" feature you were mentioning.

Try using the permalink to that forum, rather than that link with the # in it.
