Privacy issue for HTML blocks on profiles page

When you create a HTML block on the profile page, then when viewing someones else profile you can change the privacy setting for that block. NOT GOOD.

Is that bug on the 7.0.9 release only or is 7.0.8 also affected?

Was you logged in as admin ?

Quote · 28 Jan 2012

no i never use the admin account for testing. even if you login as an admin and view someones profile you are not able to edit the blocks privacy. it only happens for regular members when viewing other members profile you can edit the HTML blocks privacy This is funny admin can't but a regular user can lol...

just checked it and it is not happening on my box standard 7:08 no keys are on show  if logged in as a member or admin ? while on another members profile !

seeing as its a html box have you checked the field builder settings for member admin guest ?

in the members view/edit profile profile settings field builder do you have the admin control block ? because then you can edit other members profiles !

happy thoughts

no idea will have to dig deeper to see what's causing this. (it's only HTML blocks the rest is fine)

Tested on 7.0.9 all is good there..  It's ok to delete this post false alarm..

It may happen if you enable caching for this block.
