NEW FEATURES :

a) Adds possibility to set default Search Distance, Latitude, Longitude and Zoom for Google Map on Property main page 

b) When a logged in member views the Property main page, Google Map will automatically display all the Property listings within a given proximity of that member's profile location (City+Country).

I must say that this mod is very very stable and modzzz has gone out of his way many times to help support the building of this mod.  The fact that we now have nearly 100,000 properties in the mod and the mod is very fast just shows how well designed it is.  I thought I would never sleep thinking if it would support so many properties.  When we needed minor changes modzzzz was always there and ready to help get it done.  He is a person who realizes that a mod is a growing animal that needs attention sometimes and he is always willing to help make that happen.  I am thrilled with both the mod and the amazing support modzzzz offers............All I can do is say thank you so much for all the additional help...................I would buy any mod he offers and have bought at least 10 - 12................

Upon first installation of the mod everything installs fine. After uninstalling the mod in Admin -> Tools -> Modules and then trying a reinstall of the mod a second time fails.

The following error message is given when an install is tried:

 This type of error is typically seen on sites that have customized menus.  I have made adjustments to the install file. You can re-download the mod and try again.

I spent hours muddling through the database tables thinking it was a db related issue as the error message suggests.

Could have saved myself all that work and submitted a post here first :-)

Can it be modified so that in packages, it can also be selected how many listings 1 member can make for a single payment?

Ive had feedback from real estate agents where Im trying to use it and the reason they are not is that they dont want to pay  'per house'. 

Elsewhere they advertise, they are paying for a block of listings...

If this change can be made then I think I will be able to use the mod to full effect!

Any chance you could do a feature where property agents can buy a 'package' to list a set number of houses instead of each one as an individual purchase?

I have an admin adding photo's to some of the properties but by default it is going to a hidden folder and makes the photo's not visible except to the admin and the property itself.  I am looking for them to be able to be seen in the albums for the site how would I change this?  I tried to change the permissions but it keeps going back to me only.........Please advise..................

What would be nice for this mod and perhaps other, where you fields are dependent. So for instance when we first decide if it is Sell then all the questions below should fall in the Sell only category, none of the Rental question should come into display, as a matter of fact the Title for each of the prompt or question should also reflect the words used based upon the answer in the question above.

Hope this makes sense. It just makes the mod more polished.

Adds admin interface to allow adding property blocks filtered by tag or category to any page.

Adds the ability to allow a specified number of free listings per member when paid feature is activated. For eg. a member could add one Free listing but will have to pay for other listings.

I just bought and installed the premium real estate mod.  I did not previously install the  property mod.  I am running Dolphin 7.0.9  I received the installed message and I can edit the menus, language keys etc. on the administration side.  But, when I go to the member side and click on the "Property" tab I get an Error message "Database query error".  When I click on "property Home" under the "property Tab"  I get the same error.  However, when I click on any of the other selections under the "Property" tab I go to that section (i.e. Recent, Top Rated, Popular) All links work except "Property" and "Property Home"  Also get the same error message when I click on the "Add Property" button and the Property "Home" button.  Please advise.  Thanks

The mod is not properly installed. Check the readme.txt. You have missed the instruction that tells you to upload and run sqlstates.php

Regarding the add property form

I am trying to have certain fields required for specific custom membership levels I created.  I don't see a way to do this through my admin panel so I'm thinking that I would have to modify the BxPropertyFormAdd.php file.

This for my own web site.  I am a do it yourselfer, but not a programmer.  So the best syntax I can come up with so far is replacing the

                    'required' => false,   or    'required' => true,

With

                   if ($aMemberships == Pricipal) {
                       'required' => true;
                   } else {
                       'required' => false;
                   }

In the text above "Principal" is the name of one of my custom membership levels.

I know that there is a problem with the $aMemberships variable because later in the script I can see these lines

            require_once(BX_DIRECTORY_PATH_INC . 'membership_levels.inc.php');
            $aMemberships = getMemberships ();

I don't know how to fix this, but I think with a little direction I can handle it.

If $aMemberships is an array (I'm guessing it is) then you'd need to specify the array item.  I'd prefer to use the membership ID, not the name... you may change the name at a later time.

 Find this line of code :

Just below, add these code snippets  (this example uses mls_no field) :

For the example above you will need to add the following language key in Admin (go to settings => language settings)

_modzzz_property_form_err_mls_no = You must enter MLS Number

If you are a do-it-yourselfer you should be able to easily copy the concept demonstrated above and apply it to other fields.

Thank you so much!  Works, and very easy to follow example. 

Only one tiny problem.  The little red asterisk showing the field as required only shows up after the form is submitted and the required info shows up.  Is there as easy of a way to fix that?

Thank you for the suggestion.  I will definitely consider that in the future, because I got hung up for a bit because of a Mebership name typo.  I had to really stare at it to see my spelling error.

 I spoke too soon.  The asterisk problem was most likely due to a browser cache.  I cleared out my stored internet files, changed some settings and now each test runs much more smoothly. The asterisks are showing up when the page loads.

On same form BxPropertyAdd.php i am hoping to add that same membership level into a new column I created on the modzzz_property_main  table in my database.  The column name is

my_membership_level

I have tried the following syntax, but to no avail.

 $aMembLevel is an array. To get the Membership ID, use $aMembLevel['ID'] . Similarly, use $aMembLevel['Name'] to get the membership name.

Ah!  I see.  I'm sorry that I am such a rookie.  I still cannot seem to insert the  $aMembLevel['Name']   to the my_membership_level column in my modzzz_property_main table of my database.

 OK, So if there is anyone who is looking for the solution to a problem similar to mine. Thanks to carefully revisiting the help modzzz gave me with required fields being conditional (quoted below), I solved the problem by splitting up the task. 

My goal is to add a field into an existing form that uses Arrays. That field needed to be hidden and the value of that field needed to be conditional (based on the Membership Level of the user).  I thought that I could just put the array value for the membership level $aMembLevel ['Name'] straight into the 'value' key of the field array.  Like this:

'value' => $aMembLevel ['Name']

I don't know why, but that never worked.  I hope to learn why in the future.

Also I spent significant time trying to find the file or code that is used to INSERT the field values to the database (completely unnecessary in this case).  I discovered that no matter how many new fields I created, they would automatically be included in the INSERT function as long as I had a correctly named column in my database table and duplicated the syntax of similar fields in the form.  Finally it dawned on me that I was already told how to change the values of specific keys in any of the fields based on conditional clauses.  So I just created the field with a default text value for 'value' Like this

                  'my_membership_level' => array(
                    'type' => 'hidden',
                    'name' => 'my_membership_level',
                    'value' => 'NonMember',
                    'required' => false,
                    'db' => array (
                        'pass' => 'Xss',
                    ),
                    'display' => true,
                ),
and then using modzzz's example (quoted below) I created a conditional statement like this

}

I hope this helps all the clueless people like me out there struggling to tread water when I am clearly in over my head. Also thanks modzzz for your help. I really like this module and have developed a deeper appreciation of the elegance of your coding as I try to bend it to suite my particular application.

I have noticed that there is no duplicate record prevention when adding properties.  For instance if I enter a property and then enter the same property again with all the same details (same MLS number for example) it will be posted.  I have been able to follow your help so far and I am hoping you can let me know how to put in a duplicate mls_no check to prevent the same property from being listed twice.  So far I have tried the following code

     $mlsNoCheck = $aCustomForm['mls_no'];
     $mlsNoCHeck = mysql_real_escape_string($mlsNoCheck);

Need help with Actions Block on Property View Page

I  moved the Actions Block to the right side column hoping that the Action Buttons would display 4 across.  Instead the buttons stretched and they are still  2 across.  Please tell me how to make the Action Block split into 4 columns so that the action buttons will display 4 across.

 Actions block display is a central feature in Dolphin which is inherited by modules, therefore any change you make will affect all modules that uses an Actions block. Dolphin was specifically designed to split actions block elements into two columns. You would have to modify the core coding to get it to display otherwise.

The functionality for this is found in the getObjectsActions function ( in /templates/base/scripts/BxBaseFunctions.php )

Is it possible to use this module (Premium Real Estate Mod) in the  mobile app I can create using a Prime License?  Will my mobile app users be able to list new properties and upload photos?

 Mobile integration is not available presently.

IlBelloDelWEB has reported that this module is now compatible with his EVO Wall - Advanced News Feed module.

This module is now updated to Dolphin 7.1

Possible Bug found Regarding Property Calendar View (not sure if this bug is unique to my custom mod)

When I am viewning (click on) a date on the Property Calendar with more than the default display of 14 properties, the first page (first 14 properties) display fine.  But, when I click on any link to try and view the remaining properties, the only thing displayed is the Property Home Page.

In the example below there are 17 properties posted on February 8.

I see the following problems with this module:

1. There appears to be some issue with the ability to upload video's to a property you get the following which is attached
2. The sold date does not work for whatever reason
3. The Property option feature does not display anything and is not tied to a predefined table so no way to add or delete titles in this field.
4. I would like to know how to make the property map bigger
5. When you upload a file and or picture it use to default to the title of the property which was perfect for SEO but it no longer does that.  
6. The search feature is stuck on one category and needs to default to them all.  A person would have to know the place they want to live exactly by the way it is currently setup!  Default it to none so it searches everything unless a person wants to pick a specific area.

There appears to be some issue with the ability to upload video's to a property you get the following which is attached.
RESPONSE : Video processing (in every module) is handled by the Video module. Your problem is due to either:
a) You are trying to upload a format not supported by Dolphin ... or
b) Your server is not properly configured to handle video upload in Dolphin ... or
c) You have modified your Video module which affects your Video upload functionality

RESPONSE : This has been adjusted.

RESPONSE : The display has been adjusted. You cannot modify these values, the functionality of the module depends on the two existing values (sale or rent) remaining exactly as they are.

RESPONSE : The Map is derived from the World Map mod. Any adjustment has to be made to the World Map mod.

RESPONSE : The normal functionality of Dolphin is that Photo/Files defaults to the item title. This functionality is handled by the Photo module so if you are observing any changes on your site it is due to modifications you made to the functionality of your Photo module.
