Ive tried on 2 different servers to do a full install of both Dolphin V7 Beta 2 and Beta 3. Now understanding it is 'beta', I know probably all the modules wont function, but not too sure on whether the modules will install or not. So some clarification on what modules will or wont install as well as what is and isnt fully or partially functional.
I first tried to install Dolphin v7 on my own Linux/Apache server....
Not only do I get errors when installing certain modules, but also the menu layouts do not show correctly. For example, the main menu will pull down the items as listed in the navigation builder, but the shading behind the text is not there.... when I hover over a menu item, it drops down the text, but hard to read when it overlaps other text. When installed on my HostForWeb acct, the menu shading is there and buttons show. But still errors on installing some modules.
So the big question is this.... What are the optimum settings in Apache, the php.ini file, the .htaccess files, etc....
My setup:
SUSE Linux distro. Running XAMPP Package (Apache, MySQL, ProFTP)
Files are stored on a CIFS Windows Share. (And I did try installing v7 on the local drive as well, in case it was a perms issue)
