Possible facebook connect bug.

I am going to report something i consider a bug with the facebook connect module for D7RC1.

I have quite a few friends on facebook, so i will be using this module.

So, lets say someone logs into your site for the first time using facebook connect. D7 will create a new account for them. Ok, so far so good.

Now lets say this person decides to change their nickname on your site. Then they logout and come back later and login again using facebook connect. Because they changed their nickname, Dolphin creates a new account instead of logging them into the old one.

I believe this may be because the facebook connect module may be using the nickname/first name as a reference when it should be storing and using their facebook ID instead as a reference.

Anyhow, this could result in many duplicate accounts so really should be looked into.

If this has already been reported, then disregard and accept my apoligy.

I think that isn't a bug! "Facebook" connect module  just transfer your account into dolphin's DB. After it you will can change some profile information.

If module will change some information in your "Facebook" account (username for example), and user already was exist so what next ? How fix this trouble?

PS: If possible do not write me personally, please try to ask on the forum first
